Ok - no comments please I know I am way behind in my blogging. Here is our family photo prior to the U of L vs. U of K football game. Don't think I ever posted it. Ella was in a mood this afternoon was worried that she wasn't going to let me leave her with the babysitter.

My Party Animal

Mark's sister Teresa was married this past Saturday and Ella was the flower girl. Mark was able to get a video on his phone of her getting down to the music. More pics to follow.

Boat/Park

About a month ago when the weather was still gorgeous and it's not freezing like it is here today, we were asked by some friends to go out of their boat for the night. Ella did great. Thought after a while should would freak about the life jacket but she was a champ.



The next was beautiful also so we took Ella to the park before her nap. We had chicken nuggets and oranges, played on the playground and chased the ducks.

Mark was such a good daddy this weekend. Kept our little busy all weekend, she was so tired she took a 2 1/2 hour nap yesterday. That is almost unheard of. She has this new obsession of turning on her bedroom light. No she's not getting out of bed but can reach the switch when she stands up. I had to go in twice and tell her to lay down and turned it off but when the alarm went off at 5:45 am this morning it was on again. When I got out of the shower it was off and when I went in to get her it was on again. Any suggestions on how I could arrange her room? Before picking up my exhausted baby I looked down and she is soaked all the way up to her boobies. She did not miss one spot in the diaper last night or her pjs for that matter. We had to take a bath this morning at 7:00 am. What a good sport - didn't cry at all even being so wet! This pic is from about a month ago. She went through a phase were she wouldn't take the ears off. This is dinner (there are sloppy joes on the ears). We then put on pjs and took a walk after this dinner and she had to wear the ears. Thankfully she hasn't thought about them in a while because we accidentially left them at gamma & papaw's house.

(very long sigh)....is this day over with yet, some people need to think through their questions before asking (very long sigh again)...

State Fair

About a month ago we took Ella to her very first state fair. Her and Jackson rode in the wagon and did very well for the first 3 hours (surprisingly). After lunch not so much. We were going to try and go through some of the rows of exhibits but after lunch the kids started kicking each other, pulling hair and taking each others water bottles. They were in desperate need of naps. But Ella saw everyone animal the state fair had to offer. Saw several cows that could barely walk they were so full of milk - ouch!! The only disappointment, only saw one pig. Well I guess we saw more than one - a mommy & her babies but still only one.

No this is not a cage full of hair - it is the biggest bunny I have ever seen!!

Daddy & Ella

A couple of weeks ago I went up for night in Indy to see my grandma so Mark and Ella had 2 days to themselves. Daddy spoiled her rotten - proof is in the pictures!!

Mark bought her a car and decided to put it together while she was awake. Little to say he had to do it with her sitting in it. She absolutely loves this thing - in and out, in and out and has to make sure the sippy cup is in the cup holder of course.
